Hardtech Engineering Services recently completed a £5.6m CAT A & B fit-out for a major Online Retailer at a landmark commercial development. This was a massive undertaking, designed to create a robust, future-proof infrastructure that supports both high-volume logistics and modern office operations.

The Work
Handling a project of this scale required careful planning and a flexible approach to meet the demands of a fast-moving retail hub. We focused on delivering a sustainable, high-capacity electrical solution that meets the needs of a modern workforce and a growing customer base.
- Power & Sustainability: We coordinated significant high-voltage (HV) infrastructure upgrades to support the site's power demands. To help meet the client’s green energy goals, we also installed Solar PV systems and a network of EV charging stations.
- Specialist Safety & Lighting: The project featured comprehensive architectural lighting alongside advanced fire safety systems, including high-sensitivity VESDA smoke detection for maximum protection.
- Integrated Infrastructure: From power and distribution to high-speed data networks and emergency lighting, we ensured every system was integrated seamlessly to support the client's 24/7 operations.
