Automated Production Lines | Biscuit Handling Systems Integration

Hardtech Engineering Services had the opportunity to support a Global Snack & Confectionery Manufacturer with the electrical installation of a sophisticated new biscuit handling system (BBC). This project was a great example of how modern automation can take a complex, manual process and turn it into something remarkably efficient.

The "BBC" is an automated collation and feed system that times multiple streams of wrapped products into a carton-filling machine. Our team was on hand to provide the electrical expertise needed to get this high-speed equipment up and running across multiple lines.

Our Approach

The system was designed using advanced servo and motion control technologies to achieve incredibly precise drive dynamics. We had to ensure the electrical integration supported these client goals perfectly, simplifying an operation that had previously been a bit of a bottleneck for the facility.
